Georgia is a warm and supportive clinical psychologist who aims to provide a welcoming and compassionate environment for clients to safely explore their inner experiences.
Georgia’s therapeutic approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based treatment, drawing upon techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and Motivational Interviewing. Georgia develops a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients, working collaboratively with each person to develop a shared understanding of their therapy goals.
Georgia has gained diverse experience across public, private and community mental health sectors, working and studying in the mental health field for over a decade. Georgia’s work has included supporting adults experiencing a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationship issues, stress, self-doubt, emotional dysregulation, sleep issues, and adjustment to significant life changes. Georgia has a particular passion for supporting people presenting with anxiety and stress related issues to be open to experience and live full, satisfying lives guided by their values.
