The Mindful Centre is comprised of a team of allied health clinicians committed to improving the mental health of our community through individual counselling, group therapy, and a range of well-being workshops.
We believe that each individual regardless of personal circumstance, diagnosis or background has the ability to improve their mental and physical health by learning to make mindful minute-by-minute choices. Built on a strong rapport, we guide you from mindless habitual living to active awareness, enabling you to positively change your mindset and behaviour to move toward better health outcomes.
We offer a range of services including Individual and couple counselling, mental health workshops, group therapy and intensive behaviour change programs.
Our treatment is solution focused amalgamating evidence based practices from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and Positive Psychology. Our services are suitable for a range of people from those looking for minor changes to improve their lifestyle through to those experiencing significant difficulty and feeling stuck. Our treatment is individually tailored to your individual needs.
We work across the lifespan with children, adolescents, adults, couples, community groups, schools and workplaces. All of our therapists are registered practitioners, have Medicare endorsement and cover a range of specialties.
Mindfulness training is incorporated into our practice to improve resilience by enhancing your awareness of individual strengths and limitations, personal values and reactions to your environment. We have many links to community and government services and provide collaborative care across services as required.
